Second construction phase of Four Parx’s Wesseling Logistics Park

Following completion by Four Parx, a project developer specialising in commercial and logistics properties, Deka Immobilien has now also acquired the second construction phase of the Wesseling logistics park. The purchase includes 10,000 sqm of hall space and 500 sqm of office space on 18,500 sqm of land for 11.3 million euros. By the end of 2016, Deka had already secured the first construction phase on 36,500 sqm of land. Now the total area of the 55,000 sqm Wesseling logistics park in the Cologne area is part of the portfolio.

Four Parx recently announced the completion of the second construction phase and the full letting of the Wesseling logistics park to the streatwear retailer Snipes. This is a cooperation partner of the documentus Group and pfm medical. The project developer planned the property speculatively, without pre-letting. In addition, he also constructed this logistics property in accordance with the DGNB Gold Standard (German Sustainable Building Council).

Francisco J. Bähr, managing partner of FOUR PARX Holding GmbH, explains: “Space at economic and logistical hot spots is scarce and the demand on the part of users and investors is high. We have successfully completed the project with the long-term letting and sale of the entire space to Deka Immobilien”.
