Innovations: Two-storey logistics property

Logistics innovations and innovative logistics properties help to master the challenges of the ever-increasing shortage of space in locations close to cities. On the basis of a forecast of space requirements of 30 million sqm logistics space by 2025, we have developed a multi-storey logistics property with external ramp access.

FOUR PARX MACH 2 logistics properties are used all year round via two ramps that are heated in winter. Each level is autonomous in terms of delivery and has equal loading docks on both the ground floor and the upper floor. Trucks with an individual weight of up to 45 t can serve the upper floor at the same time according to the number of existing gates.

One access ramp and one exit ramp each take the vehicles in one-way traffic to the unloading platform on the upper floor. This ensures a smooth process 365 days a year. The 6% gradient of the ramp can be easily used by all trucks.

The modern design complies with the DGNB Gold Standard and takes sustainable e-mobility into account in all planning. Charging stations are available at suitable locations for trucks, cars, sprinters and e-bikes. For this purpose, the two-storey objects have sufficient electricity capacities. With this and other measures, the sustainability concept of FOUR PARX will be taken to a new dimension.
