FOUR PARX Holding GmbH specializes in the development and management of commercial and logistics properties. At the beginning of 2019, the company completes the Gewerbe- und Logistikpark GG RheinMain with a total rental area of around 120,000 sqm in Groß-Gerau. At the end of the first quarter of 2019, the cargo airline Lufthansa Cargo AG is leasing 20,700 sqm of hall space with 450 sqm of office space in the fourth construction phase. The space is for its subsidiary Jettainer GmbH, which will use the space on a long-term basis for the storage and maintenance of loading equipment for air traffic. In the meantime, more than 80 percent of the total space in the GG RheinMain business and logistics park has been let. Tenants include Lufthansa Cargo AG, the e-commerce portal Gorilla Sports GmbH and an automotive logistics service provider. Four Parx expects the commercial and logistics park to be fully let before construction is completed at the beginning of 2019.

Modern logistics space for the individual requirements of Lufthansa Cargo / Jettainer

Carsten Hernig, Managing Director of Jettainer GmbH, explains the advantages of the commercial and logistics space: “Four Parx develops modern space to meet our individual requirements. And the Groß-Gerau location is ideally located, only a few kilometers from Frankfurt Airport. “Groß-Gerau is centrally located in the Rhine-Main area, approx. 20 kilometers from Frankfurt Airport. The location is very well accessible from a traffic point of view. Located on the outskirts of Groß-Gerau, the railway station is approx. 600 metres from the site. The motorway A67 can be reached without passing through the town. This is made possible by a new roundabout at the Nordring, 1.5 kilometres away and financed by Four Parx. Marcus Jungheim, managing partner of FOUR PARX Holding GmbH, sums up: “With the development of the industrial and logistics park in Groß-Gerau, we have created areas that can be used flexibly and extremely good transport connections in an important economic region. This is confirmed by the high occupancy rate and the long-term leasing of well-known companies such as Lufthansa Cargo AG”.

Sustainable construction in accordance with DGNB gold standard

Since summer 2017, Four Parx has been building around 120,000 sqm of commercial and logistics space on the former Südzucker AG production site with a plot area of 243,000 sqm. This is done in accordance with the DGNB gold standard (German Sustainable Building Council). The project developer invested extensively in traffic connections, noise protection measures and ecological requirements. The latter include, for example, the revitalization of ponds as bird sanctuaries with a size of 180,000 sqm and 250,000 euros in the creation of a wall lizard habitat with 25,000 sqm. In 2015, Four Parx concluded a joint venture with the global real estate investor AEW, headquartered in Paris. The company manages the property as part of central property management for the AEW LOGISTICS Fund in Luxembourg.
